Quantitative Reverse Transcription PCR (QRT-PCR) is an important tool for the validation of expression data generated by cDNA microarray screening and other gene discovery techniques. QRT-PCR can be performed in one step within a single tube for greatest convenience or as two separate steps for added flexibility. The Twist-Lock cluster tube system is ideal for short- and long-term storage of cell lines, nucleic acids and other precious samples. Each Twist-Lock tube features an internal thread design that "locks" in with the cap in two distinct locations to provide 100 percent sealing. The caps, which are available in a range of colours, can be removed and replaced by hand or with the aid of our Twist-Lock Tool or Twist-Lock Cap-It. The Twist-Lock system provides excellent solvent resistance, is suitable for storage in liquid nitrogen environments and is available with a number of different labelling and sample tracking options, including 2DCYPHER™. 2DCYPHER™ Pilot Software, which is integrated with ABgene®’s readers, is a fully featured database solution for sample library management. The software allows for easy preparation of new compound libraries, simple transition from alternate sample tracking methods to 2DCYPHER™, library concentration management and experimental design, which includes generation of instruction lists for liquid handling robots. The SEAL-IT 100™ automated adhesive sealer addresses medium- to high-throughput sealing applications. Capable of processing 300 plates per hour and able to seal more than 2,000 plates without manual intervention, the SEAL-IT 100™ is ideal for manual use or robotic integration.
